With just 4 days to go until the music video for Lady Gaga's new track Applause, the returning pop artist has released the lyric video on her vevo channel. Rather appropriately the video is shot jointly by Gaga herself, in a fan/home video style. This is a notable tribute to her fans and ties in with the songs itself, not to mention it looks like a hell of a lot of fun. No doubt fans will be pleased with this latest production from the Haus of Gaga, and it's pleasant to see a low-key Gaga prancing around filming the extravagant drag acts at Micky's in West Hollywood.
Gaga gets in and behind the scenes with the drag queens at the Los Angeles nightclub and treats us all to a very visually charged lyric video, her first yet. It's a welcome accompaniment to the dance/electro-pop tune which sees Gaga seeking her fans approval and 'giving something back' to them, whereas her previous songs haven't really focused on this. It's showing some appreciation. The newly-released lyric video is a colourful, fabulous explosion of sequins, dance and of course, applause. (Watch above)
