Recently released, Ellie Goulding's music video (scroll down to watch) for her track 'How Long Will I Love You' is a sweet affair of airy vocals, beautiful seaside and piano accompaniment. The song itself features on the soundtrack for the romantic time-travelling movie About Time (2013), and the music video incorporates clips from the film itself.
As always, Goulding's vocals are heavenly and almost made for this romantic piece. Ellie can be seen sitting by the window for most of the music video, showcasing the picturesque landscape and eventually musters up the courage to venture outside and frolic along the sands.
The music video, although fairly simplistic, suits the song well as anything too dramatic wouldn't be appropriate. It is mainly promotional material for the film (obviously as it's part of the soundtrack) but that doesn't detract from the fact that the song is fairly decent and will certainly please Goulding's existing fans as it doesn't stray too far from her previous music stylings and sounds. The video possesses a relaxing quality, provided you love the waves and don't mind seeing clips of Richard Curtis' new film.
