Years & Years - Take Shelter

London-based band Years & Years have released their new music video for their latest track, 'Take Shelter', which features none other than actress Emily Browning. The trio (comprised of Olly, Michael and Emre) new music video is an explosion of rhythmic dancers and colour, taking place in a woodland setting which Browning's character inhabits. The track itself focuses on the notion of a relationship which seems to be a little overwhelming and careless, but intriguing; 'We're running around like we don't care/ It's gonna leave its marks somewhere/ Do you want to show me something new?'.

The overall vibe of the song is electro-pop with synth-pop elements incorporated with dance beats, which makes for an overall addictive and catchy sound, especially with the tempo on the chorus 'Take Shelter/ Take the pressure/ Do what you want tonight, it's alright'. The musical composition of the track is quite clever, and particularly radio-friendly, without being dull or boring and too repetitive. The synth elements help to give it a unique vibe and sound, which makes it more memorable and Olly's vocals are on point for the length of the song (Olly also has a unique sound to his voice, which helps even more).

The song itself is rather ethereal and euphoric in a sense, and the music video matches up rather aptly, with its natural setting and whimsical dancing, that is incorporated into the video. Watch Years & Years and Emily Browning in the new music video for 'Take Shelter', below:
